    Default how to repair buffed part of horn scales?

    hello,

    i'm looking for a help for repairing old horn scales. i had one with some parts of them are ate by worms. just two parts, otherwise the scales are in good condition. so i'm looking for repair them. i remember to see a thread with refilling these eaten parts with glue or acyrilic but i can not find it anymore

    Epoxy or CA can be used.
    Dyed or with horn dust mixed in to match the color.

    Pics help too.

    Did you do a search for horn scale repair?

    If you go to the workshop forum there is a sticky that says how do I/ some other stuff. It is always at the top of the page. There is a ton of information in there about almost everything. It is a good place to go browse, you will find answers to questions you have not even thought of yet.
