I went on an antique store hunt yesterday (thx outback!) and i pulled the trigger on a few blades.

Listed in order (no marks on back of tangs)..

Crane Cutlery Co. USA ($15)
Northfield Cutlery Co. Conn ($15)
Geneva Cutlery Co. Geneva N.Y. ($20)

The blade on the Geneva just catches the inner edge of the scale when closing.

I also noticed (at home) that the Northfield had a flatter spot in the rear half of the blade, and the Geneva looks like it has a bit of a frown.

So what do you guys think? Ill take any advice or opinions on how i did overall as a purchase, what might be wrong with these that i missed, and what needs to be done to fix them up.

Thanks for any help in advance.
