Well, I Hope You're Happy!
Are y'all proud of what you've done? Over the course of the razor restoration or two that I've started in the past year, I have become fixated on the matter, at times. To the dismay of SWMBO
.
I have spent an hour or two sharpening various things to nearly razor sharp edges. Some of which were never meant to be sharp in the first place! Some of which were already sharp to begin with!
At work, I found a few inches of concrete mortar that had come loose from around the feet of an elevated platform that was also bolted to the floor, so I lapped it on the grit tape on the metal stairs. This was to be used as a tiny micro-hone for my putty scraper used to clean, or anything else I thought could benefit me if it had an edge...
I have put a bevel on the side of a cotter pin's head. Useful for medium sized etching projects, unfortunately uselessly big for my razor restores.
So I then sharpened the head (eye) of a sewing needle that is too small for my wife to use effectively (after getting permission, of course). Another needle of the same size was used for scratching away resist media applied to the razor, until I decided the point was not nearly pointy enough for my liking... so that got some time on the general purpose/utility "medium/fine grit" sharpening stone that could be older than me. Followed by some laps along the sides of my 15k Sharpton ceramic hone (my only other stone, & only one the razors touch).
Though I thinned the head of one needle, it still had no bevel. So that got some time with both stones. It is now, quite nearly, a micro-chisel. And yes, I tried using it to cut off an arm hair a few times. It is too narrow, thus the hairs will always slide off to the side...
With scrap bits of wood, I affixed small handles to the needles, making them an effective tool for what I needed.
I feel like I might be driving myself nuts with all this... but at least the MaCGyver part of my brain is tickled by all this!
I'll stop rambling now...
PICS, OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!
Oh yea, and I can fit the newly created tools in an empty medicine bottle! Add the 5x jeweller's loupe & the headlamp I carry half the time anyway, and now I can pick away the resist media anytime I have not much to do. Like when I get dragged to the grocery store

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You can peen the needle shafts to make them flat and then sharpen them to a knife edge and they will cut hair.
