    Default chalk to polish

    Hi
    Taking to a . friend at work and he said have I try ed
    chalk
    to polish cutthroats with
    just wanting to know if it would work or not
    if not wot is the best way to polish water tarnish
    blades nice and mirror fished

    never tried chalk, but it does have some abrasive qualities. i like to use Mothers Mag and aluminum polish to clean up my blades.

    I have heard about it used as a stropping compound but not as a blade polish. I cannot see why it wouldn't work although it might be difficult to work with just because it seems so messy, but so is a lot of things.
