Default Where to buy mammoth tusk

Looking to buy mammoth tusk for a set of scales. It's understandable that it will be expensive, but cost is not really the problem.

Can anyone recommend a good, trustworthy supplier?

The place that Rezdog linked to is the place. I have bought from him in the past and found that you need to be specific. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to buy when I talked to him, and it seemed like he was annoyed. Once I told him exactly what I wanted things moved along very easily. I bought a piece of Walrus tusk and it came with all the legal documentation that it needed. They were very professional.

    Since your name is "recklessabandon"

You could always shop at a museum, very inexpensive, although they prefer you get your items at night and to let yourself in

    Unhappy

My step dad had a whole Mamoth tusk he got when he flew Helos. in Alaska. It was in their attic for years. He passed & mom had someone clean the garage & attic out & gave them the frigging tusk. I couldn't be mad at Mom & it was my fault for not telling her I wanted it. I had lot's of plans for that tusk.
