    Default Shotgun Bore Mop

    So I'm going to experiment with this idea and get back to you guys. I think it will work as a poor man's buffer.

    Maybe use a cut off cleaning rod to extend it past the drill a bit. Interesting idea, I'll be interested on how this works. I've got all the parts to try this as well

    I've used a 10 gauge bore mop covered in polish on a cleaning rod to smooth out the bore on my single shot 12 gauge and that worked fine. If it spins in a stable manner it should work on a razor.

    Watch the rotation and the edge. I would not recommend this, the long fibers have broken razor and bleeding written all over it.

    If you want to do this at least pick up a flex shaft, you can pick one up for about 10 bucks and it will at least give you infinitely more control.

    Be very careful.

    Good Idea bad reality. I attached an extension but centrifugal force made the mop wobble like a Hula dancer.. Oh well, I'll come up with something better next time.

    Yep, keep after it, it's fun to tinker and come up with a better way.

    My friend, I think something like this would do what you want;.

    Miniature Buffing Wheels for Small Polishing Projects

    Or Perhaps these;

    2 in. Lamb's Wool Buffing Wheel 6 Pc

    There are other things out there also.
