So I am currently repairing a wilbert cutlery (Elk model). Now this model if your not familiar has a covered tang so as I unpinned the razor an began on the tang I tried to tap out all the pins holding it into place all came out fine except the end I chipped one side an the piece went flying (oh well Bangkoks got it now). But what I noticed is that all the pins except the pin holding the blade an scales together were bent in a V shape, so of course putting it back together was a bit of a PIA had to Waller out the holes nothing a bit of super glue wouldn't fix.

Have any of you guys out there that have restored razors with covered tangs run into this before because I have 2 I believe that have ivory an my presumption has always been the holes were just tapered an one just had to identify which side to punch out from.

Any an all help will be greatly appreciated as I don't want to damage the other covers because they're ivory.
