Thanked: 168I understand - It is a low speed power systtem separately driven by the gears Now is the backgear is driven with a belt or with a lever or on hand =
I have hard time finding configuration and way of attachinh my future countershaft to the lathe
As the original is missing , i am a forced to weld a frame and put the taep puleys with 2 ballbearing holders and home made axis
I will make 2 more step puleys for the motor and the end of the shaft or the axis This will be slow and fast speeds
Not that i will need a fast one anyway - i will make them closer ratios to have 2 diferet opions that drive the 4 diferent speeds also
If someone have proposition for a place to conest the countershaft frame to the lathe bed or the uper part - im listening
