I have a cylindrical stick of CroOx that is wrapped in paper. It looks more or less like a great big green crayon. I use it on newspaper or cereal box cardboard. I just "color" on a little patch and strop over it. I've had wicked good results from it. I like it because it's disposable--it makes a big mess. I have also stropped over Flitz polish on newspaper or cereal box cardboard. Again very messy but disposable. Just throw it away when you are done.
