    Default Best source for sandpaper

    Hi all,
What would be a good place to pick up wet/dry sandpaper online?
Amazon.com carries it, but most have to be bought per 50 sheets.
buying different grits (800, 1000, 1500, 2000) quickly turns into an expensive affair, and I am stuck with 200 pages of sandpaper.

are there any mixed kits 1K 1k5 and 2K?

I bought this one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...122836-6906314

Don't know if it's expensive or not but at least it's not 50 sheets.

Cheapest on-line store with a full grit selection to 50,000 grit that I found is http://store.sandpaper.ca/catalogue/...fc7103c6cdfed2
For 220 - 3000 grit go to the wet-dry selection.

Caswell plating Canada at http://www.caswellcanada.ca/ was running a special for the last year but right now their site is down.

    Thanks all.
I found up to 1K in my favorite hardware store, but nothing higher.
I'll see if I can find something in a shop for car stuff, but otherwise I'll order from canada. handamerican seems to be down atm.

Btw, If used for sanding blades, does it matter it is is wetordry, or only for dry sanding?

I stopped by my local WalMart last night and they had the 3M wetordry sandpaper in 4 different grits. I bought some 1k and 2k. I'm sure there are better quality sandpapers out there, but it worked well in getting the chip out of my Torrey blade I'm working on. $3.00 a pack ain't too bad either.

You can also get small packs of sandpaper in high grits from hobby shops...places that carry models and such. Tamiya is a model supply company that's very popular; I picked up a 1500 grit pack of 3 sheets for $2.80.
