Thanked: 13245http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...-scales-2.html
Ivory works best with steam and a I use a thicker 1" brass Flat Strip that I have drilled to fit the scale..
Heat/Tighten/Heat/Tighten using Micro Bolts and large washers / cool
Take your time and they will get almost dead flat again, Steam can be concentrated using a Funnel on top of the Boiling pot if needed or use a steamer basket if the whole scale needs heating
Good Luck

I had a 7 day set come in the mail early, it was a very hot day and the scales (ivory) were warped bad.
Whether it was the heat, or misleading pics, or both i don't know... but hot mailboxes in the sun is to be considered i think. Prevention and all...
Thanks for the good info gentlemen, when i get back home I will see what can be done, try some of those techniques.Last edited by MikeT; 08-02-2016 at 02:38 PM. Reason: misspelling
