Thread: wedge made out of leather ?

wedge made out of leather ?
does anyone have any experience with this ,i tried searching for it but came empty.
i thought of using a piece of leather to make the wedge for a razor
would it work ?
any tips?

Yes it will work ( I have an old razor with one). But I don't know how its done. I imagine it was pressed and treated somehow, to resist moisture.

I wonder if using runny CA to stabilize it would work? That would lend it quite a bit of strength and help it to function as a true wedge (i.e. not get squished into more of a spacer). But I honestly have no idea what it would look like, so aesthetically it might not be a great idea.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
