Loose pivot pin on my Tenk's Clipper has been driving me crazy for too long! I finally decided to do something about it. Took it outside, set it down in my driveway. I grabbed my 5 pound sledge and with one mighty swing----no more loose pin.

I hope your kidding but I've felt the frustration.

The blade stays up on its own now. The 5 pound sledge was more of a very small hammer and the driveway was more of a thick piece of copper.

I have a Revisor that deserves the sledge. The scales tighten and the loosen after one use. I have to take it apart and use Glen's superglue trick one of these days.

It's possible the pin is bent.

I plan to re pin the Revisor but also add some strength to the pivot hole with a drop of super glue.
