    Not so ugly. Except the aforementioned pitting...

    Good blades, not worn-out or honed-down. No appreciable spine wear, no issues at the bevels. Quality makers.

    My thoughts...Will shave like new, I predict. 3/4 of them will turn-out great. They look pretty good right now.

    Do all you need to and hone them up!

    Those are some fine blades! Always liked glass-topped tables as well!

    Right now I'm looking at some simple clear acrylic. Something cheap to play with. But I'm open to suggestions

    Wood might even be easier to work with than acrylic, do you have any sources for super thin stock?
