I've left horn scale materials in neatsfoot oil for months
And have had a piece of horn tip in it for about a year already
It will absorb all it can then seems to stop making any differenceSaved,
to shave another day.

Thanked: 17Thanks guys, I was concerned about the neatsfoot adversely affecting the metal. You have eased my concerns. I'll start soaking some razors tonight.

Thanked: 3215If you do a lot of horn, save and reuse the same neatsfoot, a good reason to keep it as clean as possible.
