Thanked: 3215Fabuluster, Zam & Polinum, final finishing compounds.
FABULUSTER, ZAM & POLINUM, final finishing compounds.
Looking for final finishing compounds and recently came across Fabuluster and Zam. Often on some sites, they are sold together and the descriptions sound similar.
Does anyone have experience with both and can say what the difference is and what are you applying them with, what kind and type of wheel. Sewn, loose, or felt?
Also came across Polinum/Orange-Glow rouge, that is supposed to be what Rolex uses to refinish their watches.
Product Discription,
“Polinum, also referred to as Orange-Glow or Orange rouge is a superior finishing product allows you to use a super powerful polishing action to produce an unmatched sparkling gloss on your watch cases and bands. It is used by many high end watch brands in the Swiss watch industry. It is a highly economical purchase as it only needs to be applied in small amounts, so the compound will last for a long time. Designed for Platinum, white gold, yellow gold and stainless steel. Polishing compounds in tubes or bars are characteristically hard. These are normally used with a polishing motor, applying the compound to a buff wheel, then polishing the item.”
Looking for reviews and opinions, from users, and which wheel are you using with them?
Also there are 2 forms of Polinum, a white and orange version, what is the difference, they are both said to be “final finish rouges”Last edited by Euclid440; 10-12-2016 at 04:22 PM.
