    Default Razor storage

Been suffering from some pretty severe RAD, and needed somewhere to put the ones I havent gotten time to work on yet. I keep those in rotation in a silverware box I picked up cheap, the slots for the knives work very well for the straights and have been looking for something similar I could modify cheap.
Finally found a viable candidate and began work last week. This is NOT meant to be a work of art more a functional proof of concept piece. Hopefully next summer (or some point in the future) I will have more free time and then maybe I can make a box from scratch.

Found a fleece blanket in the dollar store that I used for a liner

Used white glue thinned with water to attach, used a bit much on the bottom piece and some of the glue came through but it isn't that noticeable

Now the fun part. I dont have a workshop and my garage is well its not really a garage its just a garage door. I have to move stuff outside to do anything. Was snowing today
My table saw is behind the motorcycle underneath the sander, jigsaw, helmets etc...

So I cut 4 pieces of wood to fit inside the box (2X2s) then used a dado to make the slots for the straights.

Using a thin piece of wood to separate the 2 sides.
All done for the day, Its getting dark and cold out. I will stain the wood then glue them in and should be all done by next week. Unless I decide to sand/stain the outside to make it look a bit nicer

Thanx as to the liner the first pics are a better representation of the color, kinda a dull blue gray. Not sure why my phone made it look so much bluer in the last set, wish it actually was that color in real life. Actually even the first pics show 2 different colors, it seems to get better with every pic

That is a cool case and I'll keep this in mind as my RAD gets more severe
