End lopped off. Went smoothly enough, with no running out of the cracked areas. Surviving this part if first step for me. It will eventually wind up as either a Spanish point, or return to being notched.

Gave it a quick cleaning, which revealed a deep rust spot directly under the last "e" A very real danger of a crack spreading from here. This will take some slow work to get it past that point into sound steel.

Round point? Square? Spanish? Square/Spanish with notch?

It's an "awesome" point - great save....

When I saw the razor in the OP, and those perfect dremel gouges, a little piece of me died.

But you've done an awesome job bringing this one back, it's disabled, but looks like it would allow one to enjoy a little longer enjoying the shave....well played sir, well played.

Some guys excel at making scales, some at buffing and polishing mirrors. The machinist in me enjoys reshaping steel and the cheap bastard in me enjoys saving things from the scrap heap!
So what style do you think I should go with Phrank?

I'd say Spanish, as I'm thinking you couldn't quite pull off a dreadnought tip...which would also be very cool. Just my opinion....
