Thanks, after playing with it and shaving with it, I think I'll go about an inch less on the length and a bit thicker and wider. And spend a little more time on hand finishing and getting a proper etch on the blade to show off the alloy banding and spend a lot more time on the handle next time. I probably would have taken a little more time, but I was due for a shave and was ready to try it out.
