    i have an 1800's era wedge called the champion of liberty that needs new scales. is there any recommendations for getting this razor restored

    One go the methods you could use is to look through the workshop forum and look at the work done by various members and see who's work you like and then PM that member and ask about restores, or getting scales made and installed. There are a lot of choices. There are a few who have restoration work as part of their business, and those people used to have an advertising section here but that is lost.

    if you want to talk to someone local (that is Michigan) Brad Maggard of Maggards razors in Adrian does nice work.
