Thanked: 3795I would leave them intact. If you cut them in half, you are doubling the exposed surface area for drying out and when you get to the end of the tube you would have twice the awkward small nubs to finish off on the wheel.

Good point. Thanks. Now I found out the wife is out of Gallon Ziplock bags. And I was just at the store too. Oh well, I go back to work in the morning and shes off so she can buy them. As far as water, I got a plastic small container with a lid. Drilled 5 small holes in the lid. Stuffed some papertowels in the container and added water. No slosh and fully contained just encase. Keeping it in my radio room so it says warm and not freeze in the garage.

i've got two questions about these products;
as far as i searched on web, it's impossible to find these compounds in europe ? from caswell UK they are out of stock since 3 months (maybe more) and they don't know if they will have them. do you have any ressource to buy them from europe ? a command from US will coast me too high with fees.
the other question is; how should i keep them ? since i had one and used it few weeks ago, i took it today to work on again but the part i opened to use last time was too hard (i kept the nylon on compound) i had to cut few cm's to make it melt on the wheel.
thanks by advance guys
