I've been tossing my belt sander on a table top upside-down to help in making scales. I've restored 4 razors now and got one more ready to sand. Today I got the Harbor Freight flyer in the mail and they had this sander at more than 50% off. I hate buying powered tools from them as they don't last but I figured that if I don't use it very often...

And as you can see China still hasn't figured out what level is as if you look at the table for the disc sander, its a bit unlevel. I think I could regrind the bar that holds it but I'd need to wait till I buy a grinder. Thats next on the list of tools to buy.

Anyways, This will help in the scale making. I will still use a coping saw to cut them out as I don't have any power tools to that ether at this time. Pretty soon I'll have to build a work shop on the back of the garage if this keeps up. ha.
