    Default Scale thickness ?

Ive been looking at a lot of scales closely and im noticing some are thinner at the wedge end and some just the opisite. Is there a reason someone does this? And if you make scales this way what end do you prefer to have thinner?

My thinking is you would make the wedge end thinner so that the wedge thickness could be more and show off the wedge more than something as thin as paper or so.

    Comments?

    Never noticed that

    I measure in three places

Pivot hole - Middle - Wedge hole I never noted a difference in more than a couple of 1/1000ths in Vintage razors so I have stuck with that on my Custom builds also

I target .100 or 1/10 give or take on the material used...

Thinking about it makes me especially leery of doing it for the fear of causing uneven flex
