Got my 12K today and...
The 12K Naniwa S.S. came in the mail today. I had this plan for it and I finally got the chance.
I had bought a 12" square piece of Granite Tile to lap on with sandpaper before I got my DMT. Now it just sits and I just try not to break it. I had ordered the 12K Naniwa in the thinner version. 3/8 thick cost a lot less and figured I'd never ware thru it using it for personal use only. So when the Rock showed up today I called a friend of mine who is a tile layer and he brought over his saw. Cut the granite to the same size as the 12K and I used the clear epoxy that I use when installing my knots in brushes to glue the two pieces together.
Now I have a 3/4" thick stone that will fit the hone clamp easy and be high enough to not give me any problems when honing. I had read that Glen glues some of his stones so I figured if its good for Glen... And white granite to match. It's just Sharpening, right?

Being a Truck Driver I got to be good at thinking Light. Feathers, fluff, pillows... Especially when I get closer to the scales house. So, its the same type of thing. Think Small. Without the little blue pills. ha.
