    Default Frog Lube

Has anyone else tried this lube? Works great for general purpose.

I know some guys use it on their firearms, but I have never used it.

Yes and I have used it on a few firearms. It would be great for the south, but in the north it does get a bit "sticky" when it's cold.
But if you use a very light coat, even in the cold it does well.

And yes Tintin, you can use it to lube something other than your frog...............which is a subject I really don't think I want to get into

I've used frog lube extensively on a lot of weapons. Great product for the exteriors. It protects from rust and corrosion. However, I will say this, on the internal workings it's not so good, especially in cold freezing weather. It will cause failures in your weapons when it is cold (0-20 degrees). Not all the time but sometimes. I don't count on sometimes. In the desert, it works flawlessly.

Use CLP for the interiors of your weapons and frog lube on the exteriors. Never had a failure yet with that combination. Of course, I haven't been in a good fire fight in a while, but I'm ready. This is just my opinion only, so take it with a grain of salt!
