Curses!!!
I was just making a new set of scales for a Wapienica shaping using the little circular saw blades on the dremel. Usually I use the dremel for low speed sanding but for this I turned it up.
While I was cutting the second side, the thing whisked out of my hand and buried itself into my finger. Crap. It is quite a wound now, throbbing like hell.
Quite ironic that I cut myself on the dullest tool I own.
I think that it is far too easy to be careless when doing this, its not something I will do again. Be warned, keep your eyes on all sharp things, not just the razor blade!
(Don't worry, I didn't stain the scales)(although that would bring a new meaning to the name bloodwood)

...careful there.....
Those dremels are a dangerous sort.
Sorry to hear! Get that cleaned out well, and fixed up in a jiffy so you can get back in here and play 'restoration'!

It turned out ok, my dad's a doctor and was here when it happened so he patched me up. I got straight back to the job, although with a lot more safety precautions and finished the scales. Now I just need to figure out how to finish them.
Does teak oil work ok in a damp environment or do I need something more?
