    I always thought Catalin was the clear type on the Adoration De-Luxe? Indeed, sounds better than celluloid!

    I am going to de-scale a few I have in cracked-ice/tortoise celluloid to clear-coat them and see if they do not last longer.
    Them Goldedge scales....
    May be a good candidate as they are unpinned and straightened?
