Thread: Could I use horse hooves as filler?

I have a bag of hoof shavings on my desk. (My middles school students are extra curious) I am going to dry them out and see if I can do anything with them. I will let all of you fine gentlemen know the outcome.

Update: horse hooves stink but I let the shavings sit in a bag of baking soda for a week and the smell went away. I am sanding some now and will see how it mixed with CA glue. I have some bug bitten scales to try it out on.
