    Default Removing pins help needed

    Hi guys,

I have a broken Gold Dollar 208 (dropped it this morning by accident and shattered the blade). The scales are in good shape and I'm planning to transplant them to another razor.
The pins on it are different to the ones I'm used to (pin + washers) and I'm not sure how to take off the pin holding the tang, without damaging the scales.
    Please help
Below is a pic showing both sides of the pins. Many thanks

Drill them out with a drill bit smaller than the pin.
Should be info in the library section.

    Try a Allen wrench .

They look like common rivets, drill out carefully from the side with the hole.

I was thinking they were rivets also but I thought no maker would use those to pin a razor. Been wrong before and looks like I am again.

I ended up drilling the pin out and fitting a new one for the transplanted razor.
    Thanks for the help guys!
