Collaborative razor
Many razors are made today by the single craftsman in his shop. Only by him. I see many times that i like one aspect of a finished product but not all.
Has anyone thought about getting a collaborative together and using the best of everyone to make a product?
2 to 10 people to make a razor. Sort of a factory that can be spread around.
I may be good at making pattern welded steel but I can't grind, make scales or hone worth a darn for example.
Would this work?
Just a thought on a Saturday night.

Thanked: 4828I have thought about that actually. More along the lines of buying a premade blade by someone like Bruno and putting the scales on it myself. I do like making boxes too so there are aspects of it that I can contribute to and there is a lot of black sand where I live, but I have no idea how it goes from black sand to a billet.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

I made a razor that rolodave assembled into scales made by geezer. A three person collaboration. Does that count?
