Made my first ever scales

Although I've been restoring razors for a few years now, the one thing that has alluded me is being able to make my own scales. I recently acquired a Dremel scroll saw that was going cheap on a local community classifieds board. I've been playing around with it for a couple of weeks and when I finally got a piece of G10 in the post decided to give it a shot.
Having no artistic ability I just used an existing set of scales as a template. I cut and sanded away and ended up with something that actually resembles scales. Now the finish on them is definitely amateurish and hopefully I'll get better at it over time.
All in all I'm very happy with them. I put an old Gold Dollar blade that I'd modified a couple of years ago in them so it's now my blade (partially) and my scales.
