Thanked: 315Razor Roll Material
Is silver cloth any good for razor rolls? There is a seller that uses it,to but I don't see anything indicating in prevents rust on steel.
Where can you get silicone cloth by the yard? Is it any better than just spraying the inside of the pockets occasionally with silicone spray? Considering just buying some zerust film/paper to put in the pockets before inserting the razor.
Thanks

I had never heard of silver cloth before now so i had to look it up. It says
Silver cloth is a fabric material used to prevent tarnish on sterling silver and silverplate items while they are in storage. According to the Society of American Silversmiths website, tarnish occurs when sulfur compounds in the atmosphere, principally hydrogen sulfide, chemically react with the silver.
So' I'm not sure if it would prevent rust.(doesn't sound like it though) I've wondered too if just spraying cloth with silicone makes it "Silicone Cloth".

Thanked: 315I'll probably stick with flannel for now and maybe order some zerust film (or cut up one of their bags) later. The silicone fabric may become less effective over time anyway.
What is the most razors people normally put in a roll? 10?12?
