Small pieces of ebony
Anyone have any small pieces of ebony that I could use to make some spacers? I think an ebony spacer would look nice on zebrawood or bubinga scales, but I hate to buy $25 worth just to make a few spacers. I'll gladly pay a reasonable fee.

Hi Kyle,
Are you talking about a small piece of ebony wood? If you have a Rockler Woodworking store near you, they carry dowels and other small pieces that can be cut for a small fee. http://www.rockler.com If you don't have one, it's something I was considering for my own restoration and perhaps I could split one with you. PM me after you check in your area.Last edited by Dewey; 07-29-2007 at 04:36 PM.

Dewey, no Rockler here, but I'll check around locally. I ordered some other woods from westpennhardwoods.com. They've got ebony as well. Maybe we could split an order.

Thanked: 0If I get some scraps together, I can send you some. I just need to wait for things to settle down with my mother. I have spent 6 hours in airports in the last 8 to try to get to her hospital in Oklahoma.
