Thanked: 0oil slick
I had just finished the final honing on a very nice henckel 3/8 after a week of cleaning and repinning after my day job and as I was oiling the blade before putting it away and it slipped and hit the floor. woops, now it's about an inch shorter than before,

I think my most expensive mistake was actually finding this forum and then becoming obsessive in what I had to have.
Cheers

My biggest mistake was leaving a razor out to dry with my girlfriend in the same room! she unplugged her hair dryer, knocked over my beard trimmer then that knocked over my electric tooth brush which in turn sent my favorite razor blade first into the sink then onto the tile in the bathroom. hence me looking for a new 7/8 blade in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. at least the scales are fine.
