    Very Very nice job.

I would like to try and re-scale some razors but I don't know how to figure out the balance part of the equation. How did you find it out with your wood scales?

Basically, I didn't worry about it. I knew the Wapis were not balanced with the metal scales and anything would be an improvement. One variable is what material to use for your spacer. Brass is obviously heavier than a wooden spacer. You can also use a smaller wedge instead of a spacer to help even things out.

Ah understandable. So there is no real set amt or what not for trying to figure out the balance then. Yes, I know that anything is better in the Wapi's then the Original.

    Hey, that blade looks familiar....

Nice work, Jim. I'll be trying out that wood you sent me pretty soon...

BTW, your next two Wapis are going out in today's mail. They both passed the shave-test very nicely.

    Have a good one,
    Josh

Haha. That's the only one I haven't shaved with yet. Good luck, Josh. I got some ebony in the mail yesterday. If you need a small piece for a spacer, let me know.
