    Default Custom scales

    First effort at custom scales. Paduak with hand-rubbed varnish oil finish. Brass spacer, pins and washers. Wapienica blade.

    Lookin' pretty good man! How's the weight, compared to the steel Wapi scales? The wood looks nice, and a good thick look too, looks robust, just curious about the weight side of things.

    Thanks! The balance of the razor is much better than stock Wapis. I've got three so far and replaced the scales on all of them -- two with Dovo replacement scales and then these.

    Well alright, great to hear that the balance is great with these new scales. I have to say the Wapi looks damn sexy in them new scales. Amazing how those crazy Communist surgery razors can dress up!
