Hello. I’m thinking of getting myself a cheap Japanese made Kamisori through an eBay auction. I make them myself but have never seen a traditional one and would love to try my hand at fixing one up for my own use. As far as “restorations” go what’s the protocol? Can I throw them on the grinder to neaten up grinds or give it a consistent finish ? The one I’m looking at is Rough as guts. Anyway I’d love to hear your opinions and any tips for a newcomer heading in to a resto
