Thanked: 556Unknown “gunk” on a Boker King Cutter
Found thus razor in an antique shop for not much money. The razor seems to be in in very good condition overall except for some stuff that appears to be like varnish or some sort of dried clear adhesive on the back toe.
Any suggestions for removing the offending gunk would be appreciated.

First try would be alcohol, then turpentine, then acetone, then brake cleaner.
