Thanked: 3222You can try using an eraser on just the spots before trying anything else.
Do not use WD sandpaper but you can try a metal polish. Do not get the polish on the beveled edge or on the gold etched part of the blade. You look at the gold etching the wrong way and it is gone. If you get it on the beveled edge you may dull the blade.
Be sure and wipe both the blade and inside the scales dry and then let it air dry open before closing it. Unless you store your razor in a high humidity environment or are storing it for an extended period of time oiling a blade is not strictly necessary. If you have only one razor and using it regularly, oiling might be a bit of over kill.
