It is too tough to call that one. I would say the only time that will be figured out is when it gets honed. Sometimes is is shallow enough that it hones away and sometimes it leaves little holes in the edge forever. Zooming in I can see darks spots right beside the edge but there is no way to be certain. Sometimes you have to take the chance.

You’ve done a pretty good job removing the rust. Try to take some close up pics of the areas you are concerned about.

Rez is right. Sometimes honing will remove what looks like pitting close to the edge, but sometimes it can reveal damage that wasn’t apparent before. Roll the dice.

Some closeups in better light of the trouble side.

Looks like if you're going to have trouble it'll be about 1/3 from the heal. Before doing anything else I would hone it up and just see for yourself how the edge is.

Always at least set a bevel. If it cannot be done in clear steel, move on.

Had one the other day that got chippy above 8k. Reset the bevel and got chunks not chips.
To the windchime box it went.

As the guys have already said, the only way you’re going to find out if the blade can be saved is to put it to the hone and try to set a bevel. The best possible outcome is that the pitting isn’t deep near the edge and hones out to give a usable razor. The worst case is that it doesn’t and you still have something from a previous generation you can hang onto as a family heirloom.

You get that, especially with Sheffield wedges. Sometimes bubbly steel sometimes not well tempered.

Looking at your pics, I'd say it'll have a clear bevel.
But I'd need to see the other side as well, for a better decision.

I've honed a few, that left a bit of pitting in the bevel, itself. But not in the actual edge
