    Default Genius or Moron?

Is this wrong or a good idea?
Scales made from the same piece of horn. Outer and inner parts.
    Genetically they are identical

You could dye them or live with the natural colors

Okay. Turned up the brightness on my screen and I see the difference now. I have seen some 2 color scales before I liked.

Or, if you want a more traditional look, you can dye them like rolo suggested.

    I figured it out..
A wedge made from the two pieces each part on alternate sides..
If that makes sense? .. Checkered horn look
    ..
Bad idea.. Both pieces would look the same due to lack of light..

I don't see why not. You could have that whole Victor / Victoria thing going.

Certainly a strange combo. In fashion, they say never to mix black and brown, but if you like it do it! That said, do you have enough to do one brown set and one black?

I have a few razors I rescaled using purchased pre-shaped horn scales. Three show-side scales are striped and look like they came from the same piece of horn while the others are more or less solid black. I think they look just fine. You really can’t tell until you put them together.

Probably I could do that but these are finished and belong together.. I'll throw a W&B inbetween, I think it will look good.. Let's bring razors into the future
