    Default Mock up screw sizes

I could use a little help finding the name or size of the temporary machine screws that are used to mock up the scales. I bought the smallest I could find at Mendard's that were 2 mm and 2.5 mm, which both sizes were too big. Correspondingly, the nuts that go on those screws. The sticky at the top of the Workshop had some links but they don't seem to be valid anymore. I saw something like "0-80" but am having a hard time finding that online of even the big box stores.
I am using the normal brass rod that most are using, I bought the kit from Maggards several years ago.

    Thanks in advance....

I use 0-80, it's a difficult size to find in bigger stores. One Ace hardware by me carries them.

McMaster.com has just about everything you could want and are typically shipped next day. Part numbers for brass are as follows:

    Screw: 92482A275
    Washer: 95395A101
    Nut: 92671A115

They have other material choices as well depending on how much you want to put into them.

Bear in mind, these come in PACKS. So, don't order a quantity of 10 from the nuts, you'll end up with a 1000 nuts....

There is also a seller on Ebay that makes some for razors. Don't have a link on hand and I think they are in eastern Europe, so shipping will take awhile with everything going on.

EDIT: seller is sr_manufacture from Romania

    I bought mine here--

    https://www.microfasteners.com/

I do have a couple of sets of these and I do prefer them as you don't need anything to hold the ends so you can tighten them--

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Miniature-s...n/173850754530

He uses regular envelopes and it takes a couple of weeks for them to land but he's always gotten what I've purchased to me.

I hope this is of some help.

Those are a nice if you are just doing test fitting. I think I actually sent some of those to another member that did a lot of rescaling.

What Roy posted is what I have. They work really well. That's also where I got them.
Also bought some other things too.

No problems at all getting the items.

Yeah, the tiny screws and nuts from Microfasteners work, but those bolt sets from the Romanian ebay supplier are just so much easier to use.
