Thread: Wade & Butcher Shorty Too much Idle Time

Too much Idle time on my hands,
I just couldnt resist cutting down this old 6/8+,it had a crack near the joe,so then I just had to regrind and hone it,so now ill just have to make some scales,and shave with it(I think Ill make some rasta color scales,and name it The Tookie Williams memorial razor) You guys remember Tookie?
The IXL is just in the picture as a size refrence,it is as new,and is for sale if any body wants it (they are excellent shavers)

Very nice re-grind, looks like it could have been made that way. I really like the french point too -- nice overall profile for the blade.

At the danger of going off-topic: Yes I remember Tookie. Is there a special reason to name the razor after him?

Gary, that is some nice work. Post same picks when you get it rescaled, and yes I am old enof to remember Tookie;

Tookie was a piece of S*** west coast gangster,who among other things tortured a woman with a straight razor before killing her.He later got some jail house religion as a rasta,thankfully Tookie got a small part of what he deserved
The razor is actually named Shorty,I decided to name something else after Tookie,and will be mailing it to Sean Penn,and Harry Belafonte

Thanks. I did not know how he was connected to straights. Then again, the only reason I know of him is that there was a blurb in the news when he was executed. The only reason they discussed it was the fact that he published a book and was a nobel prize nominee (weird as that may sound).
