Straigntening Scales
I found a Puma with an outstanding blade. The scales are in good shape other than a couple of small issues:
- The Puma inlay is missing
- The blade doesn't center properly. It requires that you manipulate it to get it to close properly. Once inside the scales the edge of the blade is not in contact with the scales.
It's a three pin design. Any way to "unwarp" them without having to disassemble? OR should I just note it in the description and let the new owner deal with it?
Thanks, J>

Set the scales up with popsicle sticks to push them out,and copper wire to pull them in ,so they are alined the way you want them. Then heat in the oven to 170F. for 20 mins. Remove from oven and quench in cold water Regards Gary
