Default Archival quality acid free tissue paper

Some time ago I received a SR that I purchased and when it arrived it was wrapped in some kind of paper inside the coffin box. It had the look and feel of something like waxed paper, but it was not the kind you use in the kitchen. Can someone advise what this paper likely was and where can I purchase some? I am assuming it was acid free paper. And on that note, is kitchen variety waxed paper suitable to wrap razors in for longer term storage?

Look up VCI paper (also known as anti-corrosion paper).

    Yes, it is!
Pixel turned me on to VCI when I had some chisels get rust. Seems to work for a very long time.
It is fairly cheap. 1000 8" by8" sheets for $32 USD on Amazon.

I went next level and put pucks in my safe and gun cabinets and pit VCI liners in my tools boxes. I live in a very damp area and they are quite effective. Good old Bill was very knowledgeable.

Wow, I just looked on Amazon to maybe get some of that VCI paper but it is expensive!
