Default Schick Injector razor handle removal .......

    .
    .
Today I was trying to decide which of the Schick Injector razors to keep.
I couple of them have very good heads and another couple had handles that I like a lot, the marbled handles.
So, what does it take to swap handles?
I Googled and Youtubed the question and they had nothing.
So, I found one that had an amber-colored transparent handle and that showed me how it was held together.
I decided to try boiling water and it worked!
When I do the next one I will not let the entire head go into the water, which leaves deposits on the head.
I will put a wire across the top of the pot and rest the head on that plus wrap the head with black electrical tape.
BTW, the plating on the Schick Injectors is very thin. Maas is too aggressive. Blue Magic Metal Polish is finer.
BTW, I had to buff the handle to get it back to normal. Plastic polish is on the way.
Here is a pic that shows you all the details.
When it is hot just pull the handle straight off.
