    How do you tell if a blade has uneven hone wear or bent?

    Place the tang on a flat surface push down at the pivot hole with your finger
    Note the relation to the surface flip it over and do it on the other side





    Once you do this a few times it gives you perspective to just look at them in the scales

    I place a straight edge along each side of the spine. I fill low spots with electric tape until straight then cover all with one layer of tape.
