    Default Scale identification ?

What material are these scales made from?
    One piece mother of pearl?
    Manmade Mop?

Looks as one-piece MOP, Randy. Nice and rare!

Just did another close look.... these have small collars around the pins..... the wedge looks like black plastic.

    Pearlite?

Could be mother of toilet seat. AKA pearloid. Those actually look real though.

You could always do the old pearl test and rub them against your front teeth.

It looks like MOP, much in same fashion as MOP Kindal.

Besides the old rubbing them against your teeth, they should be iridescent. The real MOP scales I have are also thicker than normal. Regardless, what a great looking pair of razors.
