Default Starting out with Micro Mesh

I want to get myself some micro mesh pads. I tried a few at my uncle's house (he restores pens) and they are truly as awesome as everybody says.

What do you recommend as a good starting set? Are any of the kits appropriate for razor restoration work, should they be augmented with other grits/varieties or should I assemble my own? What' a good starting array of grits?

I like these pads, http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares...oduct&ID=81601 I use them on finishes with soapy water. I wet sand to about 800 or 1000 grit then work my way up through the series of grits of micromesh. The pad can also be bought here http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?FamilyID=5233
