Looking for horn handles
Is there anywhere I can buy different kinds of horn handles? I'm not really after solid black scales and would prefer lighter colors. I don't have any way to make them and it's hard getting them off junkers on Ebite.
I saw some custom makers that offer different horn scales for their works but don't know if I can just get ready to use scales (also didn't find them a few mins ago in my links...).
After cleaning up my 2 hand-me-down razors I got to thinking it would be nice to get them both set up with matching horn scales... problem is fnding the frigging stuff
Any help would be great...

If you find out, let me know. The only horn I've found in the correct size has been black, although it does usually have some lighter striping.

I mostly find them for knife handles. They are a little short for razors longest I've found is around 5 inches. I have sent out a couple of e-mails to a few suppliers to see if anyone has longer horn scales but no luck so far.

Thanked: 0Horn Handles
Gentlemen:
About 20 minutes from where I live there's a bison ranch that sells fantastic meat and YES, bison horns. I've never seen them and I suppose they're just the horns so that someone will have to work them into scales. If interested reply on this thread, no need for a private message, and I'll happily provide the name and phone number. By the by, I'm in southwest Ontario, Canada.

Robert Williams uses some blond-ish horn scales on some of his razors....

You should ask where he gets his.
